did i have posted this before here? I am not sure. As you may know we had educated maids in the past in the former places we had. In general i stopped further education of maids, but from time to time i take a maid to my household. Of course the household needs someone to serve, that cares for the perfect shape of the house, and of course serves me and the ones that stay at our home. In general we mostly dont take experienced maids, more often they are educated at my home to become a perfect one. Maid Hellen is a new one that joins recently. Maids have to learn and follow rules. On the picture above you see how our new maid dedicates herself to learn all the rules that are important for a housemaid. A housemaid is the very lowest maid rank, a new maid gets as first.
If you want to know the rules they have to follow here they are:
Basic Rules that apply to all Maids
1. All maids have to follow orders given to them from our young ladies like maria, christine, the Ladies Maid , male Visitors or Lady Pearl.
2. If Lady Pearl, a Visitor or a young lady shows up, a maid stops her current work, and report to them immediately, and asks nicely if there are any orders to follow. If not, she returns to her work.
3. Maids have to be dressed always properly into their uniforms
4. Maids show always patience, a good maid is a maid that is not noticed, a bad maid is a maid that needs attendance
5. When being spoken to, stand still, keeping your hands quiet, and always look at the person speaking.
6. Never let your voice be heard by the ladies and guest of the household, unless they have spoken directly to you a question or statement which requires a response, at which time, speak as little as possible.
7. In the presence of Lady Pearl, never speak to another servant or person of your own rank, unless only for necessity, and then as little as possible and as quietly as possible.
8. Always respond when you have received an order, and always use the proper address you learned at the academy.
9 . Followers of own rank (male servants, butlers) are strictly forbidden. Any member of the female staff who is found to be fraternizing shall be immediately dismissed.
10. The Ladies Maid Lina has to be adressed as Mrs.. Lina by all other maids.
Behavior for House Maids:
1. Maid has to clean and care for all chores at the house. Everything has to be clean and nice, always.
2. Maid is responsible for Paintings, Floors inside and outside, Ironing, Laundry, Flowers in the garden.
3..After the Housemaid receives introduction she has to serve tea or coffee once a day to young ladies, Lady Pearl or Tutors.
4. The housemaid is not allowed to leave the house on her own. She has to stay behind the closed doors, and need permission from Lady Pearl, friends of the house or young ladies to leave the house
5. The housemaid has to be leashed and attended when going outside by everyone that take her out. Young Ladies and Friends of the house.
These rules make sure that maid is going through a succesfull education to become a perfect maid. What is a perfect maid? I may post a little bit on that soon...
