Some neat litte impression of a litte reminder for maids about her duties that happend recently at my house. As you may know i have a ladies maid (right maid on the picture) that has a higher rank as the other maids. Recently the servenants of the house left the household a bit untidy and the house maid (on the left) has to report about why she is lazy on cleaning. It may a bit humilating to her to report that while the ladies maid, a male visitor and me were listening to her excuses. At first she had bad excuses...and we had to take discipline meassures. Before it was time to return to the house she finally confess that she was lazy on this day, because she had to serve the gentleman you see also here. I did not asked for further details, but her punishment was lowered.
My ladies maid was a bit surprise as it was up to her to deliver the punishment, of course well observed and guided by me. It must have been a additonal idgnity for the house maid to be punished by ladies maid, while other were watching this procedure.
After serveral strokes from the cane she retruned to her work....
...and it was time to get tea served by the ladies maid....
