Today a little bit more on maids life. Yes - i know - i should write a bit less on maids on this blog, as dealing with maids is not all that i do, it is only a small part, as maids do not deserve so much attention. But for some reason our maids have the talent to be often on photos from the sanatorium. Daily chores is one of the big part of maids life, as you can see above. Sadly not all maids are keen on doing the housework. So this maid needs a little help and was tied to the ironing board - the only way to make her addicted to do the ironing.
Of course maids life is not always, easy like that, doing the daily work. Just in the case a maid becomes lazy she has to be reminded of her daily duties, sometimes with a little help. This maid ends at a less nice position, and yes she feel the cane somwhere at her body...
Patience is one of the important things a maid has to learn. Imagine the long hours she may has to attend silently in the future at a ball or party, we will give. Only there to serve drinks, and waiting patiently to be called to serve. For this reason we have a very effective way, to educate the maid. Just a small square of wood on the floor at the entrance of the sanatorim. She has to stay in that all the time, and is reminded to show patience to stand there. I imagine a night standing there become really heavy. Yes we do it not for minutes, this training, more for hours...
