Not that you think that this is a maid blog....but we had some discussion recently if the vintage maid always wears dresses that are reaching over the knee or not. To proof the opposite this is a picture from 1942 of a maid...of course that was worn more or less for some photo shoots or used in some other fetish interest. I always wonder why people think that vintage times were modest times. To much pictures in your head of the perfect 50's housewife? But that can be also interesting :)
